Emre holds his B.M.(Bachelor of Music) from The Hartt School, where he studied Jazz, Music Education, and classical saxophone. He has studied saxophone with Jackie McLean, Michael Menapace, and Kenneth Nigro. Upon graduating Emre began teaching music in schools. He has been teaching and playing music for the last 23 years since graduating. Emre also holds advanced degrees from Wesleyan University and SCSU. Emre's goal is always the same: to be as active as possible helping others achieve in music. He plays professionally in various jazz and funk settings and loves helping students to achieve musically.
